Costa Brava Tous Store

Full renovation of a street level store located in Playa de Aro, north of Barcelona. Both the ground floor and the first floor were demolished to create a new concept store. This project was developed in partnership with Patricia Gil Moreno.

Barcelona Law Firm Headquarters

When the client purchased additional office space on the floor directly above his office, he decided to remodel the existing one. As an integral part of a 19th century building, the main architectural features such as the plaster of Paris ceilings, tall internal doors and french windows were to be saved and exposed. The goal was to create a traditional “law firm” environment punctuated by contemporary furniture and modern light fixtures, namely in the board room and senior staff areas.

Country House in Baix Empordà

Full renovation of an 18th century country house, located in a small village some 120km north of Barcelona. The house was in poor condition when the owner bought it: the roof was partly destructed, the thick stone walls crumbling down and the garden abandoned and overgrown. The major challenge was to bring back to life the architectural features such as wood ceiling beams masonry walls and arches that were concealed behind century old layers of plaster. A porch was added on the east facing side of the house to balance the volumes and create additional entertaining areas.

Barcelona Downtown Apartment

The brief was the full renovation of a run down 60’s apartment. An open kitchen forced the ceiling to be reinforced with 2 steel beams adding an industrial allure to the whole.

On the roof and on the ground floor there are ample playgrounds for the students. This project was developed in collaboration with Asensi Arquitectes.

Barcelona Sarrià Apartment

Barcelona Stucom Headquarters

Renovation project of two large senior staff offices. The new brief was clear: work space for 4 people was needed in such a way that all of them should be able to operate independently and at the same time share part of the space. A set of 3 large floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors was created allowing the space to be used in 3 different combinations.
